INCIDENT- 12/12/23 - MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT WITH ENTRAPMENT- MOUNT ROYAL BLVD - SHALER TOWNSHIP

Just after 10:00 PM, Station 264 was dispatched to a reported two vehicle accident with entrapment in the area of Mount Royal Boulevard and Lameisa Street. 264 Chief arrived to find two vehicles head on with one person trapped. Crews from 149 and 264 began to work on extraction but unfortunately one person was fatally injuried as a result of the accident. Crews remained on scene for some time sssisting with lighting for the crash reconstruction team and working to clean up the accident scene. Crews returned into service around 2;00 AM today. Our deepest condolences go out to the friends and families of those involved.
