INCIDENT - 6/19/22 - RESIDENTIAL STRUCTURE FIRE - BURCHFIELD ROAD - SHALER TOWNSHIP

Just before 7:00 AM today, 264 Truck was dispatched to a report of black smoke coming from a house Station 262’s first due. 262 Assistant arrived on scene and reported a working fire inside the structure. 264 Truck arrived as first due truck and was assigned primary search. Truck crew also began laddering the structure. 174 Engine arrived and began stretching along with 149 Engine and 261 Engine.  Crews found a small fire inside the kitchen that was quickly knocked down. No other extension was found inside and fortunately no one was inside. Nice work to all crews on a quick stop!
